Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award business definition

An annual award given by the President of the United States to organizations that apply and are judged to be outstanding in seven areas related to quality management and results. The award, named after a former secretary of commerce, was established in 1987 to enhance competitiveness through quality improvements. Also called Baldrige Award.
